This was created on a 12-day turnaround (for the rough cut) on an extremely tight budget. Music Video – DC Rap Artist
In 2008, I created this video for Kokayi, a local rap artist out of Southeast DC. The video is a hodgepodge of the different cultures and landmarks of Washington, DC; including Chinatown, Eastern Market, Anacostia, H Street, Adams Morgan, Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Union Station, and others. I was still a college student at the time, and this was shot and edited using borrowed equipment from George Mason University’s media lab.
