Philips’ awesome online commercial

Check out this incredibly successful online commercial by Philips to promote their Philips Cinema 21:9 LCD televisions. The commercial was widely praised by the ad industry and was only the second online commercial to receive the Grand Prix award at Cannes – a really telling sign of where the industry is moving. According to Nicola Smith of New Media Age Magazine, “In just over two weeks, 500,000 unique visitors visited the Philips website, spending an average of 5 minutes 20 seconds viewing the footage, and 50% of those interacted with it.”
